Good Garage in Derby for cam belt????

Any one no any good garages in Derby to have my cam belt done???? What price should i be paying????

There aren't any.

I'm in Derby and I went to Birchdown.
They did a good job and it's a nice drive there too.
Price depends on what you have done, cam, aux, waterpump, tensioners etc. (which should all be done IMO).

What are you driving btw?

Sorry its a 182 04, done 34K and they need doin asap, its every 4 years i belive, will want the whole lot doin.

HillPower if you can get hold of Nick or Mark Lightfoot in Ilkeston, who did the full job on mine.

Birchdown come highly recommended by most on here though. I was originally planning to go there just from the amount of praise they get and specialist status, but my aux belt was screwed so I went local as I didn't dare risk the 80-90 miles to them.

Nick at Hillpower is on 07973342081, but he has been preoccupied with other things recently so if you get no answer you're best to leave him a message or try ringing back.

Think he quoted me sub £600 for the full lot inc water pump. But that was months ago now and I've slept since then.

I was never able to get ahold of Nick at Hillpower so gave up on that. I just got mine done at the local garage (Sitwell in Spondon) in the end who did a good enough job. Granted they arent specialists or anything.

72k or five years, which ever comes first.

i had mine done in chesterfield and they did a top job
cost me £700 but that was including w/p dephaser pully and a few other bits
good price i think
