Good news at last...

Having paid my deposit to New Car Discount.com in the middle of July, and twice there being delays which pushed back delivery of my Cup, Ive had it confirmed today that I should see it during the week ending 7 November.

At f***ing last! Barely two weeks to go...I feel sleepless nights coming on...

I paid my deposit at the beginning of august and mines due 26th Nov, so about the same wait. Its really getting on my tits, especially as the car Im using at the mo as a run about is f**ked!!! AAAAGGGHHHHHH!!!!

Ordered mine from main dealer: end of July.

Guaranteed delivery 23 Sept.
Then 22nd October.
On 22nd told 24th
Then later on 22nd told 29th.

So when the f**k is it coming?


It takes the piss. You are paying a lot of money for a car. You expect to get it when you are told you are getting it. Whats worse, I have the reg, so I know its in the country, just sitting there.

Ordered mine around 20th aug, right in the middle of the factory shut down. No one ever tells you when buying a car that there is a black hole in the french calender where they all pi55 off the coast. Had a call from the dealer Tuesday night telling me the car would here 1st nov for collection.

Im probably going to go pick mine up when it finally gets here...if it means I get it a day or two earlier. Plus, I dont have to worry about some monkey ragging it silly, kerbing alloys etc.

Trouble is its 270 miles and 5 hours away...the drive back will be worth it though!!!

Ordered my cup early september, got del date of 7th November, now 19th November, dealer told me they must be missing a part.

Now been told by Reno it will be the first week in Nov at the earliest.

Will be picking up a loan 172 from the today

Back dated 4 times this week now. Rang Renault UK, and they said there had been a hold up with 172s cos of some change over in the factory between the Phase and the Phase 3. However, the car is in the country and is a priority, and will be at the dealership asap. Its not f**king soon enough! Sick of being pissed around!

Just got a phone call from the dealer giving me the registration of my 172. Should have it next week

But i have to say thanx to someone (you know who you are and I wont say his name because hell probably get slaughtered with pms from people wanting to know about their car). Without him finding out my car was in the country, my dealer wouldnt have known a thing and the salesman has been pretty useless at informing me where the car is and delivery etc.

It is in the country now!

The dealer was saying it wasnt ..... but i was reliably informed that it was and after a 15-20min phone call to the dealer, they finally find out that it is actually in the country and that it can be assigned a registration!
