Just seen my old MK1 172 in Yellow for sale at a main dealer, FRSH 45k on the clock and just had a new engine

They want £7999 for it and im thinking of getting it for the girlfriend in p/ex for her old car



Is it worth it?

if you want it, offer 7K tops (6.5K trade)

I bought an £8999 car off a forecourt for 8200!

AND forget trade-in!! with no trade-in you can push for a much lower price AND mega finance deal.

(I was offered £600 against a full price car for an MINT low mileage L reg Reno 19 Turbo D - I sold it for £1400 on Autotrader in 3 hours)

You can get mk2s for that, I think there were a few in the For Sale forum.
