Goodyear Eagle F1 - Full Lock

Just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the Eagle F1's GS-D3's.

I seem to have a problem when i have full lock on. Especially when pulling out at junctions etc there doesnt seem to be any grip at all and automatically starts wheel spinning. Having to pull out very slowly.

Anyone else noticed this?

Planning on getting another 2 tyres for the front and moving these onto the back. Might try the PE2's next

Could it be that on full lock the tyres are tilted more on one edge of the tyre, rather than being flat to the ground? (hope that makes sense! lol)

When I had the tyres fitted I also had the tracking done, but it made no difference.

Understand what your saying but no other tyre have ever done this!

Get PE2's you will love them but make sure you use the right pressures.

i have GSD3's on 17 inch wheels and love them - have never had a problem

What car do you have?

I find in my 172 it helps if you pull away a bit slower this time of year

It will spin in 1st and 2nd if you are too enthusiastic!

There is a known prob where the wheels feel like thery're slipping when on full lock at low speeds, this seems to be 172 and 182's.

There is a techinal note on it apparently.
My 182 does this.

As you said "Martynh" it is at low speeds, such as pulling into parking bays etc.

I have the exact same problems with my GSD3's! Other than this though their a good tyre.

They are for me the best all round tyre.
