Google apps (business mail)

Does anyone use Google apps, more specifically mail, for business?

I'm thinking of moving our emails from our web server, to Google. It's £3 per user per month, which isn't bad.

Any pros/cons you've faced?

  A blue one.
Yes. Used to have our own mail server, but I migrated us to Google apps a few years ago.

I had to write a number of scripts to export our current mail and import it into Google, about 15 years worth of sent and received email from 5 or so accounts.

Google apps was free at the time, so we don't actually pay anything for it.

Never have any problems with it and I don't have the admin headaches with running our own server.

I use both Google Apps for some businesses and Office 365.

Both have their quirks.

Emails currently as IMAP/POP?

Additionally, what devices will you be using to access emails?

Thanks,

G.

Well, we use Drive, Calendar and Docs as it is.

Our current emails are IMAP.

We'd use Outlook and iPhones to access.
