why is the LCD of that Kenwood on the inside? sorry but im new to ICE and just learning. i had a look at Halfords today and some of them were like this...with the keypad insisting on the open position when switched on. is this how it looks like when its ON? or does the face go back in?

are the hinges strong enough when its open like this and youre tapping the keys?
