Got a leak, help needed

Hey people,

Ive got a T reg mk2 ph1 clio and got myself a leak.

Recently after a night of rain ill have a puddle behind my drivers seat, no signs of where its coming from at all.

Any advice or any one had a similar problem?

Im thinking it might be my door seal rubbers but went to renault a while ago and they wanted in the region of £180 for a pair of rubbers. Which is quite a lot to spend if that isnt the problem.

Any help or ideas would be awesome =]

u got a sunroof? i had/have ur problem, and where the seal overlaps on the roof of the car, water was getting in, and i think it was gonig down door pillars. I've silliconed the edge of the sunroof all the way round, and so far *fingers crossed* it hasnt returned

When I had a MK2. Ph1 I got a leak through the aerial (although yours doesn't sound like that).

The morons at renault replaced the plipper sensor (which broke as a result) but didn't actually fix the leak! Next time it rained, guess what happened!

They fixed it second time around at their cost. Rather unsuprisingly that dealer went out of business!

No i havnt got a sun roof but my car has had a full respray... so the rubbers have been taken off before, and i think there not really designed to be taken off and put back on.

Really dont fancy paying that much on the off chance of it being the rubber though, make have to take some sealant to the car.
