Got a new retro Camera

My great uncle recently passed away and my dad has been clearing out his flat, he found something he thought i might be interested in, and hes just given me this

I saw it recently on the gadget show when they were doing the camera feature of this versus the polaroid to see which camera made the biggest progress in introducing home photography, not sure which won, but that doesn't matter.

The thing is cool as f**k, its in mint condition, has the official case as above as is a version 1 so from around 1952-1959

cheers james, its weird, you move a dial to open it and then it just comes apart in 2 pieces and all thats inside is a couple of winders for the film to sit on, it is so basic its amazing, couldn't be any simpler. Shutter works fine too.

Not worth anything but will sit nicely on my coffee table in my new flat as a talking point, might get some more off ebay like the brownie 6 20 looks cool.
