Got a PS3 and 26" LCD

Was going to get a PS3 from ebay. But i went to Virgin Megastores and for £380 i got a new PS3 with F1 game.

Also got the hdmi lead and sixas controller for £40

so i was pretty pleased with all that!

Must say with the HD LCD tv, F1 is just amazing. Doing all the testing, warm up laps, proper pitstops and qualyfying shootouts is great fun. Plus its a brillaint race simulation - better than old F1 games!

Blu Ray dvd quality is stunning on Talladega Nights!

TV is 26" Samsung, digital hd jobby from the net and im glad to see that which magazine gave it 5 stars too!

Not to piss on your parade as it sounds like you love the hell out of it... but if you think high def looks good at 26" your gonna get a shock if you viewed it at 50"

(high def came about as TV sizes increased, there wasnt really a need for high def until TV's started getting bigger than 32")

HDTV should be available on all sizes, LCD's make a s**t job of SD pictures, regardless of price of brand, but thankfully HD sorts all that out.

I use a 26" Bravia with mine and that's only at 720p. It looks fantastic at that size. I think you only really need 1080i/p at 40" and above.

i can't decide whether to get it on bluray or hd-dvd, going to go to the local stores tomorrow in orlando and see if i can pick it up any cheaper as the virgin megastore in disney is a ripoff RRP price of $100 +Tax.

still can't decide which format to get it on though!

From what i remember you can't use your NUS card for discount on consoles from HMV.
