kully= sounds really rattely and it dont sound right.

does it sound as if it wants to cut out as well ? is it std or a performance exhaust ?

no dont sound as tho it wants to cut out, its a replica stealth system. any more ideas?

Maybe the baffles in the backbox are broken/damaged

Or the box was simply made up badly.


Bolt left undone somewhere?
Centre section not clamped onto the rubber properly.

Could be a few things there.
A decat will always give you a slightly 'tinny' effect at higher revs.

But shouldnt sound like its moving/broken etc...

mine went a bit tinny after the sports cat ....... got a prospeed on mine , cant think of anything else other changing your back box .

this is when im pulling of and when i thrash it. just dont sound good. would appreciate someone in colchester to have a look at it, or i can drive down near yours. it may be the clamp but i cant check it myself.

slightly in the clutch pedal i think but im not sure. just think i need someone to come round and have a look. might be the heat shield but i dont know where to find it. thanks

Jack it up and have a look while its running. Touch someting that sounds rattly and check its that etc (beware of the hot exhaust though)

Dont be scared to get under and have a look, might save yoursefl some money.....

you need another scilencer just the one with a decat will make it sound like that. it was the same when i decatted my 1.2 and a remus back box

hi josh, heard it over the phone guys, does NOT sound right, sounds like the zorst is about to give in and drop off. then again it is a s**t exhaust that clio sport put on it so not really suprised.

josh mate you need my prospeed, dont think ill be fitting it i have the bumper recess thing now as well.

the exhaust mounts should be hanging "clear".

On my car it vibrated because the rear mount (Reno part) was'nt placed far enough to the back and the metal of the exhaust mount was touching the metal of the mount that goes on the car. when adjusting this one slightly so you'll see the pin hanging "freely' in the rubber then it should be okay. When the dcat was fitted i bet the exhaust moved to the front/back a little, making it neccescary to adjust the mount

i also found that when cold it sits different to when it is hot. expands you know ..
