Just picked up my (flame?) red ph1 172.

DarrenS ferried me there (again:star and our mini-convoy strolled the way home back to Manchester, all under 4k rpm as the timing belt still needs sorting.

It's in fine nick, the spare wheel and tool tray hasn't been touched, so just one tyre needed if the original Pilots are still available? (anyone?)

Odo showed a steady 37.5mpg over the journey (about 30miles)

Hopefully Darren will be along shortly to post a pic of it getting it's first drink of V-power.

I love it, my Wife's jealous, get the cambelt sorted and I'll be ready to give it some BEEAAAANSSSS.

Just a shame the phone camera isn't better - doesn't do the colour much justice. Looks more bronze than red?? :S

Looked great in the rear-view mirror on the way home. Certainly don't see many in that colour on the roads!
