Got my car back :)

Just got my car back from renault they fixed my boot so it now opens ^_^

I also told them that my horn wasnt working when i pushed my steering wheel on the left side of it and it looks like they replaced the wheel :O ?? it was covered in cellophane (might of been to keep it clean) and so was my gearknob which also feels different although it was dark.

On the way back came round this wide sweeping bend at 25 and hit black ice thought i was going to go through a wooden fence lol "turn into the skid turn into the skid" was worried for a second as i turned my wheels and nothing happened with me slowly sliding towords someones garden fence as there was no kerb

Ill go 15 mph next time lol, they should show you how a car handles on ice in driving lessons...

Do a skid pan day, i did last year, as well as being very enjoyable and fun throwing a an audi around, i learnt alot, which i was recommended to practise! which i shall do later! in big supermarket car parks they recommend!haha

I didn't think it was bad either hence the 25mph :O

Jeez, so it is. Just been down to the shop and the street and pavements are white!! Side roads are treacherous at any speed when frozen (so I went in the missus' Verso and left the RS on the drive...)

Empty icy car parks are good fun for skid practice

I had a little practice when i first started learning in the snow, but it was over a year and a half ago. Was just caught off guard as wasn't execting it i think. Hadn't been ice anywhere else as far as i could tell. Maybe someone had washed there car on the street the day before and the water froze or something
