Got my new phone today! :D

Well, yesterday but only started using it today. A Sony Ericsson W900i in white, unlocked to any network. It seems class so far. Obviously its a rather bulky unit, but having had an S700i for the last year its no big deal. Its packed full of features, and the camera/video capture is amazing. The best I've ever seen on a mobile. Only really scratching the surface of it so far, so to speak. Messaging and calls are easy and very clear. Bluetooth seems quicker than the S700i somehow and I can finally set any sound as the message tone. Little things make the difference

Overall, very impressed so far, and havent tried the games or anything else yet really. Can understand already why its been getting rave reviews and tags of best mobile available.

On a negative, and only one so far; when opened and writing a text message, your fingers tend to touch the camera lens which could leave fingerprints, as there is no protective cover. Just a tiny observation but nothing to worry about as its easily wiped clean

If you dont mind larger than average mobile phones, I'd recommend this one to anyone.

Supereb phone... but the bulky bit stopped me getting it... for anyone looking for the next best thing choose the w810i. As above though... no cover for the camera but easily wiped clean!!

Personally im looking at the N80/N91 for my next phone, but until i feel the N91 in my palm I'm not sure if the size/weight is going to put me off of it.

Ive had my w900 since december and am very happy with it too. Some of the games now coming out for it are excellent, been playing Sonic the Hedgehog lately

I wouldn't worry about the camera lens, whatever it's made from but its very strong, wipes clean easily and mines not got a scratch on it yet. The orange line round the edge keeps it slightly raised off the surface the phone is on. Not a problem having no cover at all really.

My current Nokia 6630 does not have a covered lens and it's always worked perfectly well when needed. I'm currently torn between waiting for the N80/N91 on o2 or ordering the W810i which I can get now.

i got that!!! lol! im not sure if my w810i games will work on yours but i have some excellent games if you want to give them a try!!

Is the new UI good in this phone and is it much different to the older models it replaces?

810i is a class phone too, and JJ, thanks for the website link. Top quality mate. Made all the better by remembering you support Spurs? Or have I just made that up? Either way, its a good thought.

Also, the games are great, graphics etc are top notch seeing as the phone kinda includes a graphics card (yes, really!), but they are all 60 second demo's. Bit pants. I shall now venture off to download Sonic or something. I know this might sound a bit daft considering the age and logic, but does anyone know where I can download 'Snake' from? One without mazes. Cheers guys.

Ive ordered my w810 but Vodafone have a 10 day wait!

I bought mine from Ebay, came 2 days later after Buy it Now. The fact I'm on o2 meant I had to buy an unlocked one. It still has the Vodafone ramblings on the cover etc but only 1. Also, because its an o2 simcard I dont think the Vodafone Live or 3G will work. Dont know that for certain yet, might need updated settings or something?

Downloaded some great themes. Now all I'm doing is searching forums and stuff for games (such as Sonic) and other themes! Been to a few, getjar.com etc for games, but none of them are groundbraking
