Hey, just wondering if anyone has taken a gamble on this little device:

Reviews seem very complimentary, especially for the price.

Also, if anyone has gone for this, where abouts did you install it?

Garmin GTU10 seems a bit better but a lot more to buy.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Might just be worth a try, if noone has any bad experiences with it?

Yeah as its cheap but it looks like it will need some wiring and a PAYG Simm to work. The Garmin doesn't need this and you know the tracking info and website features will be ace to.

I especially love how you can set the Garmin to alert you when main power is cut or when it physically moves out of a user defined "boundary" which you define via the website by drawing on a map.

Deffo considering one of these now for my Clio to hide somewhere. Also has a 4 day battery life to so loads of tracking.

The Garmin unit does look like a very neat bit of kit, that's for sure.
Just not sure if I can justify the money on that... I don't really need either, spending most of my time at uni in York, but I like the idea of having it just incase.

I'll give it a think... Please let me know if you do decide on the Garmin kit, would be very interested to hear about your experience with it!
