Got the Eufy S340 Solo Cam which seems OK, doesn't support RTFS so can't stream to Home Assistant easily, but probably not ideal with being Solar ppoweed only anyway.

I’ve got 4k cams around property & in door way just want a different angle & be able to rell postie to lob over gate.

There's another bundle about £100 more but not sure I need the features?

Having the fluorescent lights replaced in garage with LED batons & sparks will fit & commission at same time.

Get Eufy one instead even the battery ones last months if you just set zone area to you drive no subscription either.

Anyone had experiences with solar panel chargers for them? They look pretty hit and miss from a quick Google.

Had my Eufy doorbell since Feb 2023, the battery life is still good, no real decline over the past 3 years, it does roughly 3-4 months between charges.

The new ones come with a removable battery now, which is a good idea.

My eufy doorbell battery health on 88% now after 4 years isn't great. Quite disappointed for the price!

Asked them for a replacement and they just said they can do 25% off a new one. f**k that.

It was wireless before sadly!

Funny how ours is so similiar after similiar times. Must just be how they are

I suppose when you consider the cost now and work out not paying a monthly subscription it's been a saving and a half!

Same, I only ever use it to talk to the postman now. Not to tell him where to put the parcels or anything, I just like his hair and like to tell him daily when he walks by. Soft and fluffy

sorry if im thick, but how do you find out the battery health?

Open the app, click settings for the doorbell. Then under power manager there's a bit where it gives the battery health.

I’ve had mine for over 3 years now, still working perfectly and lasts about 3 months between charges, very happy with my 3 Eufy cameras.

Last charged on 8th January, about due for another charge…

I've put an advert out for a butler. Im going back to a knocker and chucking alexa away too.

His job responsibilities are to announce visitors and take in packages, to manually load CD's/Records when I ask him to play music, constantly look out the windows at night to see if we are bing robbed or over run by a mob and to order things from amazon using a desktop computer when I ask.

I think this is going to be a massive life stress reduction.
