Eufy are having a sale on their app only. 25% off it seems too.
Same, it was £99 at the time, been faultless and the battery last ages.We have the single camera version, it's decent.
My cheapo Await doorbell cam seems to be dying and the app will no longer let me change the sensitivity/speed settings, so it's no longer catching people walking up to the door until they have been there a few seconds. So thinking of getting a new Ring cam. Had a look on Ring website and the battery powered ones seem to be twice the price of a powered one. Am I right in thinking they are the same camera internals, just one runs off a 12v power supply from inside?

I've gone back to Ring from Eufy.Would go with eufy mate, all day long quality products had mine years and cameras.
I'm thinking of getting the powered one, with the adaptor, and a chime for £79.99, then the subscription is £4.99 a month. I already pay £30 a year for this camera I have now, so it's not much difference.I've gone back to Ring from Eufy.
I found that the battery life on Eufy was crap Vs that of ring, I also prefer the app on ring.
Yeah there's a subscription, but it works and it works well.
We've now got the battery doorbell pro, 2 x spotlight cams, and the full alarm system.
I believe it's 5v for a normal doorbell mateMy cheapo Await doorbell cam seems to be dying and the app will no longer let me change the sensitivity/speed settings, so it's no longer catching people walking up to the door until they have been there a few seconds. Nice one thanks for confirming mate!I’ve got two inside, dont think it has any internal. I’ve got 4 Ring cameras/doorbell so just pay the subscription as any more than 1 is the same price.
Nice one thanks for confirming mate!
Not a doorbell but a Ring indoor camera.
I am getting one for free but don't want a subscription to Ring. Does anyone know if the 2nd gen indoor camera has any internal storage? I can't find anything about it anywhere so I'm assuming not.
Was going to stick it in my garage but probably will end up flogging it and getting a eufy one to match my current system.
Yeah I won't be mate. Its coming free with a dog insurance so I paid nothing so was going to use if I could. I'll more than likely just get a eufy one as that way it will link with my homebase thing or whatever it's called in my houseBetter still get Eufy and don't pay any subscription at all.
This is correct after 30 day free trial. You can still use it for live view and notifications I think, just nothing saves
