Graphics Problem!?

Right this is a very strange problem... when I load up a game when it first starts actually playing in game... the gfx on screen start disapearing like textures disapearing or most of screen going black.. but as soon as I CTRL+DEL just to bring up task manager in windows... then click back into game it solves problem! its very weird aint got a clue whats doing it!

Geforce FX 5900 XT and any game really...godfather....battlefield.. any... all latest drivers are installed.

maybe its heat related? check the heatsink and fan arnt loose. Not sure really try on www.sharkyforums.com, they know everything about computers!

Yea funny you should say the first day I had gfx card the fan fell off so i just clipped it back on and thought nothing of it.

no reason why it would overheat and a s/ware command drop the heat again. I suggest rolling back your drivers to a previous version. Sounds like a memory leak to me.
