Greasy Front Shock

While my car was up on a ramp yesterday I had a look around and noticed my passenger front shock was looking rather greasy compared to the drives side.

I have GAZ coilovers and they covered a lot of miles so is it likey that they have pissed all their oil out and are subsequently knackered?

could well be just the seal around the damper, if it is then its just a new seal needs to be fitted and some new oil. not to expensive considering the alternative.

however they could just be nackered lol, but sounds like its just the seal

It makes a right mess, sticky being grease. Dunno if gaz dampers are oil filled anywayvwould presume they're gas?

Shock oil will be runny and not sticky like grease
