They are crap imo..

I found mine kept on losing signal in build up areas.

i sent mine back the same day mate, really wasnt impressed, now i use a 3.5mm retractable wire.

Much better, crystal sounds

I had one but it was s**t.

Gave it a chance but sent it back in the end as well.

Mine works nee bother, it's set to 106.5 I think. Sometimes a bit of interference but only in places where the radio stations pick it up as well.

I got the iTrip Auto and it is crap. I don;t use it as it is too annoying having to retune it every few miles.

They do have a new versionw ith some smart tune on it, ut the quality is bobbins even when no interference.

I use CDs instead, but am looking to get a new header with either a mini jack or ideally direct controls.

yes mate, i got a sony headunit with a mini jack (aux) input in the front. Works a treat, love it

does the new header still work with the stalk controls - or was a kit needed? also does the display still work if you swap the header?

yes mate, display still works, stalk doesnt though, need a kit, think its around 30 quid
