grinding when braking hard

have the above problem my old man said it might be my pads wearing down but i dont think so, when i'am braking hard it feels as if my brake pedal is scraping along the road , any suggestions?

pads and low brake fluid sounds feasible

i had that trouble and changed the pads now it's fine. pads still had a bit of life in they were about 1 inch thick still cost me 12 quid for new pads and took an hour

check the pads for wear. check the brake fluid level. check discs for wear

just the abs working probably! do you know what abs feels like?

no mate this is my 1st car only had it one month

if you broke hard and wondered why the wheels possibly didnt lock it was cause abs kicked in, feels like a strange and possiblgy bad feeling vibration through the pedal but its normal. thats if it was ABS though

thats what it sounds like buddy, the wheels dont lock so iam i ok then?
