We have Quaife LSDs fitted to our cup cars and had no probs with them, sorry but know about shafts,I just drive it.

Dont touch a phantom, pointless.

ATB's are helical, and just like an open diff, if one wheel has no traction then they dont work. They constantly seek 50/50 torque distribution......i dont like they way they drive.

A plate type LSD is what you want.

how much mate, any more details, is it in a jc5 case?
Well it's a 172 box with an avanti lsd and lower geared finnal drive crownwheel and pinon, after using it in 2006 we rebuilt it for the 2007 season into a fresh box but never used it . it was a spare, we run a sadev dogbox now. Price good question it has cost me about £1500 but I would take offers.
