Ground in brake dust on V6 wheels

  S2 106 GTI
Would a scotch 3M pad work for removing the grime, its all stuck in the corners.....I know the shine will be removed but going to clean the wheels right up.

I also have tried AG tar remover which did a little bit but didn't remove everything.... but nearly used 1/4 of it on one wheel!

I do have some AG engine cleaner would that work????

I was thinking clay, but might be too stuck to shift it! It's really rough in the corners. Our mrs lupo is the same

I'd be very careful about using anything abrasive tbh! Try clay, but not with tardis or it'll just melt! lol.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
Might actually be Tar.. And Tardis shouldn't cause any harm to the wheels

I think he means don't spray the wheels with Tardis and then clay them using that, as the clay will melt!

Megs Wheel Brightener has never failed to get anything off my wheels with a bit of agitation...

I'd just like to add I don't use it every wash - only when I've been a lazy s**t and not cleaned it for a while. Very good neat for BMW wheels that haven't seen anything other than rainwater in 3 years as well...

Tardis won't hurt wheels though - I've doused lower halfs of cars with it before!

LOL! - Thanks Mike! Yep, clay + Tardis = MELT!

Tardis is fine on everything, paint, metals, plastic. just ensure you feed and seal it after.
