Ground in rust on wheels

TC.

As the title says theres major rust on my wheel from a pad being wore down into sh1t so all the filings have literally bonded to my wheel, whats the best way to get rid of them, the wheels are gloss black if that makes any difference.

cheers.

Ive only ever seen this situation once. My mate had the same problem on his ST500 wheel which was also black. He didnt want to refurb 1 wheel as he thought it would have looked odd. This resorted to buying some iron X which is expensive stuff. 2 500ml bottles at 15-16 quid a pop seen a lot of it off but required a lot of patience and lot of gentle aggitation. If they are gloss black mate, id just look into a refurb personally as the iron X wont shift it all and is a very time consuming job.

Tardis, iron x, then clay them. It's time consuming but all depends how right you want them.

Don't forget to polish and seal them after that to stop this happening again.

Poorboys Wheel Sealant, eBay or Polished Bliss for circa £13.
