is this availible from n e where else, as i dont really wanna hav to give my old ecu in, as bb request?

Hillpower sell them I think or give R-Sport themseleves a call.
If you get hold of an ECU from a breakers BB should now be able to send it to have its memory blanked and then they can stick new engine maps on then just stick it in your car.
