Group N

Anyone got a group N remap on a standard 182?

Anyone recommend it even if they do have a few minor mods?

the only REAL groupN ECU came from R-sport and was only available for the 172's

all other GrpN stuuf AFAIK isn't the "real deal"

Don't need to save for real tuning. Got a 400bhp nissan 200sx for that.

Got 7k sitting in my bank account coz i am saving for a house, but just wanted to give it a little bit extra as i feel the car doesn't pick up well down low. it needs the arse ragged off it and to be kept above 5krpm to get anything out of it.

I don't want to keep ragging the arse to have fun, i would rather only drive up to 5.5-6krpm maximum as i want the car to be reliable.

High revs = more wear.

despite all the other stuff that goes wrong with them, the engines appear to be quite strong. Very rare you hear of a failure on here tbh.

Suppose the clio will seem tame after 400BHP Nissan. I have Yam R1 so dont feel the need to thrash the cup. Except for couple of times when challenged by boy racers in the local. lol

Agree with Laingo, Renault make a hardy engine.

My mum won't let me get a bike while i live under her roof, she says its too dangerous...then i come back with the smart ass comment saying what about my 400bhp drift car? lol lucky she doesn't know anything about bhp.

Can see what she's saying though. I'd rather crash at 50mph in a car then on a bike.

If you have 7k in your bank and you want to use some to increase low down torque, get cams, remap, BMC CDA with CAF, decat and aftermarket exhaust. It's just expensive stuff tbh.

Or if you want to go crazy and waste almost 4k just go for throttle bodies.
