Grrr ebay idiot!

Put my old alpine headunit on ebay last night, with a BIN and auction listing. Checked the auction this morning and BIN had been used thought great!!!

So sent the invoice etc then about an hour later I get this email from the buyer:

""hi mate have you any pics of the head unit and it says on the listing if i use buy it now delivery is free thanks""

I am thinking hmmm, bit stupid to ask for bloody pictures when you have bought the damn thing

Sent an email back and haven't heard anything. Got a feeling its gonna be a non payer :dapprove:

Don't you have to have a special account for that? I tried it last time I sold a phone, but it wouldn't let me unless I changed my account type.

Some absolute retards on ebay, had one email me bout 30+ times, no joke. because he had previously brought and not paid for something, as a result recieved a non payers strike then a month later to be emailing me to say ebay has asked him, to tell me... to remove the strike :S

Hopefully the person will pay up for you, but i doubt it.

Don't you have to have a special account for that? I tried it last time I sold a phone, but it wouldn't let me unless I changed my account type.

Business account I believe as I have this feature on mine

Sounds dodgy to me.

You can request immediat payment with buy it now (as said)
You can also select it to automatically reject bids on things from countries you don't post to, there are a load of other selling options too, they are all free. I use them to prevent the noobs on there.

- You don't need a business account to do it.

That site does my nut. I had a guy do a buy it now on my micra a few months ago at 5495, he spoke to me a couple days later (tues) and said he was struggling to get a lift up to collect. Then on the thurs morn got a text saying "ive had some problems which i have emailed you about". Basically he worked for a property agents and had been asked to remove a used condom from a property. He refused and was given his notice lol. He asked me to chip it down from 5495 to 4000 since he had already taken out finance. Bizarre. The mug must've had 1 hella boring life to amuse himself by doin fake buys on ebay. Glad yours came thru in the end storm.

Sold a Sony Ericsson mobile on ebay, sold at 10ish pm....woke up in the mroning £95 in my Paypal....Great....Sent the phone off lunch time, got home form work, email off Paypal they have removed the funds from my account as a dodgy/stolen card was used to pay for it

Anyway guy who purchased/stole it was sapnish!!!!

End result Paypal F***ing rubbish NOT one bit of help......lost my phone and had the £95 taken from me.........ebay were S**t to.....

Learnt my lesson, never send item until money been in my account for 3 days, and never send overseas......
