H I am new!

Hi There, cant find a newbies section so I thought i would post here, any mods feel free to move this post!

I am buying a MK2 172 tomorrow (So long as its not shady!!) so please be nice to me!

Selling my MG ZR 105 (I was the meet organiser for the mgzr.co.uk scotland)so a big increase in power looking forward to it!

First things first, how much are clear "lexus style" lights for the car and secondly whats the easiest way to route a 4 awg power cable from the engine bay (Lots of DLS stuff to go into the boot)

Unfortunately Lexus lights are about £100,000,000 each so you cant really have them () What a shame.

Whats so wrong with clear lights Ihave them on my ZED and they look great!

Ok So you can just see them in this pic, cant find another one of them on line....

The car is silver BTW

no its a rover 25 in a funny colour, plus the lights look terrible on anything but a lexus, hence the name...

Sorry mate, chrome Lex lights dont work on anything other than an IS200.

Theres a green MGZ round the corner from me with lex lights and it looks horrible.

The bling factor is too much.

Check out the black ones though, on a dark car they look nice.

By lexus I meant Clear lens over LED bulbs looks really good i thought oh well maybe I need to get my opinions changed

Well the only mods i planned for the Clio are some quality stero (Full DLS set up, 139DB) and maybe some colour coding but dont think I will lower it or do much to the engine, maybe a re map and a nice filter but nothing ott

However I never discount anythng and i thought i would keep the ZR standard and never did, seen a few clios with smooth tailgates looks quite good . .. . .

evening, dont go the route of lexus lights. but if you must then try fk automotive they are making led rear lamps which will be better quality than most lexus lamps and look alot better, they come in red black or silver finish.

Cheers for the welcome peeps nice to be here. Shame the one I went to see today had been in a crash and badly repaired, seeen a few ropey ones now might have to buy new.....
