H&R part number help..

Could someone please verify the H&R part number for the 182 please? About to order them for my 182 and just want to check the part number. He said the kit comes with 6 springs as 2 are called helper springs that can be used if I track my car a lot? Never heard of helper springs before.

The part number he gave me was 29389-1

yes. the H&R's do have helper springs........ these are on the front. I believe they are softer than the other longer springs to aid comfort, but maybe wrong lol

That's the partnumber of the H&R coilover set for the 182 WITHOUT Cup pack. Don't make the mistake I did. If you have a Cup packed 182 (antracite wheels), you should order the same partnumber, but with "2" at the end. There aren't 6 springs! I had two front coilovers with springs and 2 reardampers with springs. Only 4

As I thought, the partnumber for the Cup packed 182 is 29389-2. Looked it up for you

no. My cup has 4 at the front, two on the rear. I'll find a pic.

this is how my set up looks. The thinner, smaller springs are the 'helper springs' on the front struts.

I have the same partnumber from H&R and it was boxed. No 6 springs.

Is yours a 182 or 172 Gaz?

172. Thy are the same set up bar bolt spacing for the hubs. Look at the pic i supplied, you can see the two sets of springs on each front stut.

I first ordered Koni's and they didn't fit. Distance between gaps was 54mm as with Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3 non Cup. Bolt distance for the Cup packed is 60mm.
Koni didn't have those, so I had to order the Coilovers from H&R. They didn't want to take the Koni's back

Jesske is right with the part no, but was wrong when he said there were NOT six springs. There are, which he realised above lol

I asked Fred several times for a price on delivery to Dubai but failed to get back to me so decided to get them elsewhere for cheaper in Dubai. 700 pound delivered.
