H&R's fitted earlier :D

Was gonna do these on friday after finishing work early, but got home at 4 and decided to crack on with them since I was bored!!

Had a similar problem as with fitting r8byb's, the rear set up wouldnt go up through the trialing arm so some fettling was needed, but all in all went smoothly. popped a drive shaft out but went back in like a charm, so no worries there.

My camera batt is dead so 3 from my phone. Gonna drop it down a lot on the rear tomorrow, level the front out and maybe go slightly lower, and they are gonna be set up asap.

Even withut being set-up they are immense!
They have been modified for fully adjustable camber up front, so will be having them at about -ve 2.5 i think.
15's hopefully coming soon, then some track work will be thrown its way

Not pushed it yet, just took it for a spin to make sure it was safe to drive.

Back will be going down loads yet, just wanted to get them on tonight, the i can spend tomorrow and friday messing about with different heights etc before i get them set up

Yeah all in all baout 2.5 hours. Second set of H&R's I've fitted, done some FK's, then I have put springs on a 182, 172, 4 1.2s. And also fitted coilovers to my old Lupo GTi!

First time I lowered my 1.2 it took maybe 5 hours doing it using a guide from here, it isnt hard, one of the jobs that is easy once you have done it! If you want me to write you a step by step guide in detail pm me, i have lots of spare time in my day job!

You can wind it all the way down at the back no problems.

Mine is as far as it will go. I modded the arch linings at the front and dremelled the front bumper bracket soI don't get any rubbage.

I've got bout an inch of thread visible before the bottom of the retaining nut.

It still has a forward slant. Although with further mods you can get the rear to sit lower.

Yeah the back will be going all the way down, and the front I'll take a bit lower too. Think I may have found the 15's I want too so hopefully have them on at some point.

H&R's - 15" wheels....

I fitted a fog light CAF, k-tec ultra decat system, buckets coming...

Was a VERY good price so had to dive in and go for it!

New news, gonna set the height etc up properly tomorrow, lower at the back etc, then waiting for a friend of a friend who sets up the suspension on race cars (set up and raced an ep3 civic that came 6th in the Britcar 24hour race!) to crack on with mine, so should be pretty sweet soon!

This is currently how the camber is set, not the best pic i know!

And this is the angle it sits at, screen print from my iphone - highly accurate!!!

So that shows how much the wheel is sat at neg camber, any ideas how much it is iset to, I was thinking 2 degrees would be a lot less than that, but looking at a mates car that is set at -3.5, it won't be much less!

Any opinions?
