H&R's on a FF182..

  Italian 3.2 V6
So I relise my 182 obv has the cup suspension option.. Therefor I know it has a different fitment for coilovers to the reguler 1*2's..

What needs to be done for H&Rs from a 172 to fit my FF182 !?!?

How much of a job is it? Ball ache material?

PSJ.

Probably have to Drill new hole spacings on the struts, as it wont fit cos of the differnece spacing sizes! Id say ball ache, plus ruining the struts!

just a hub conversion i think....
i would change track rods ect at the same time and think about pressing in some new bearings into the 172 hubs too.

not a ball ache of a job just time consuming and by the time you have spent on hubs and labour if your not doing it yourself then it will amount to the same as some 60mm coilovers??!!

never been a fan of drilling struts as if its not mm perfect they wont set up correctly!!

Gay!!

I can get a set of H&R coilovers for under £200.. Just wish they would be able to fit easly!! :(

FTL!

  Dodgy one
IIRC the hubs are also slightly wider too where the shock would mount, Therefore you would have to effectively open them up slightly too,

Change of hubs £~100 or the correct coilies £900! Would probs say at £200 they will be needing a refurb too.
