are the turnis 16's? and ya they are over kill for the 1.2 but that will be getting changed wanting to sort rest of stuff out first

Result of a £300 set up by a motorsport specialist buddy.

The "rake" increases turn in, probably won't help you in MaccyD's ;)

o right in that case its good then :) i want low atm i now it wont handle as good as it should but like the look of it been slammed

yer but with a 1.2 you dont really have to worry about it being set up properly to take corners as effectively as possible do you, so getting it slammed as low as possible is a good thing, and then when you get a new engine as said above^^ you can adjust it

Go for some cheap springs - 60mm perhaps?

Don't see why you'd want to spend loads on suspension for it not to handle :S

i had mine slammed on its arse and it handled really well once it had been set up, then i went on a mad handling mission and raised it a bit hand had it set up again and it handled much better on rough roads but not much different on smooth roads (or a track!)

there h&rs are off a mate im running 60mm springs atm and not happy with how low it is if i had to buy new then id go for FK's as there cheaper but as said these r a steal of a mate so why not

love how low yours sits in the pics were u not running FK's?

Yep FK Konigsport Silverline X coilovers the adjustable damping ones with the koni dampers, handled superb especially once the polly bushes were on it, but not a million miles better than the 172 with eibach sportlines with standard dampers and bushes

well if it all goes thought hopfully the h&rs will make her handle better i just need get some new rear shoes then go down to my mates work shop were we going to fit them :)

I still wouldn't put H+R's on unless your going to track it, otherwise adjustable suspension and all the money of H+R's is a waste, but each to their own, eibach springs???

its on 60mm apex springs now and its alright but aint low enuf for me the h&rs are going very cheap to me off a mate so why not and hhopfuly once shes is built up with the engine etc yup she will be doing track days :)

i'd get them if you have the money spare otherwise it's a bit of a waste imo.

personally i would find a way of getting them myself as they improve the ride a lot.

This is my 182 lowered on H&Rs, can't get it any lower otherwise it won't go in the driveway!
