May be people on this forum can spend 20,000 euros on software then say Ohhh ill remap your car cos i have the tools.
Not buy sh*t copied files from ebay cos they think its easy.

I watched paul adjust my fueling, regardless of the method, i don't pretend the understand how it works.

I can vouch for Paul on this. He has smoothed my car out no end and is Defo better for it. I can understand people being sus but it`s a shame that because some people are friendly with other tuners that they feel the need to bad mouth others with absolutely no knowledge of what the they are actually doing. Paul took my rsport and could see where it was out on fuelling etc and altered it accordingly. The result is a much smoother power delivery and power wise we`ll see on sat just how well it does.

paul, im guessing u data-log lambda (on the road) then adjust to get fuelling spot on to give a map file?
how do you go about ignition adjustment, or do u just concentrate on fuelling?
only reason i ask is cos im going to be offering this service in the future, but when i have my rolling road.
i still prefer the ease of an aftermarket ecu!

I have just bought a second had hillpower airbox and was probably going to buy a matched plenum..
I was going to leave the exhaust as std for now, but think it would probably be worth a retune now and next summer when I get around to doing the exhaust..
If I was to get a "group N ECU" would that work ok until I the exhaust sorted? Also is this ECU unlocked so that it would be cheaper to get a remap done at a later stage? or If I got a remap now would it be cheaper the second time as the ECu would be unlocked(Or don't they need unlocking?
Paul I image the fueling is fairly straight forwards but how on earth do you do the spark off line? Do you have an auxilary knock sensor that you attach? Practise I suppose..
We had a special "Knock" box(microphone and speaker) that we used to use on the dyno for rally car engines and just run 1 or 2 degrees below det where spark limited..
