Had my 182 on the rollers.

Car  Astra SRI/ Hornet
Just got back from rs tuning and very pleased with the results. Completely standard 182 and I got......175.2bhp/155 torque. Was quite a few there off here but standard I think mine was highest. I won't say what the supposedly ph quicks got. Lol

Ha well wait till they put there results up and see. I won't even mention the 3 lane sport with 2 ph1's either ; p.
 
Just got back now, had a good day and nice to talk to a few of you.

The 182 made 175.4bhp/155torque, with a Yozza catback, samco induction bend & ktr filter. Im happy enough with that i suppose :)

Kev can you put a graph up of your power run mines istandard apart from 2.5"system and modified standard cat with 2.5" outlet pipe just wondering if il lose alot of torque with the bigger dia system.
 
It makes me laugh because 10bhp makes f**k all difference in the real world, back to the pub.

tbh mate it wasnt exactly rapido like you make out ;-) pulled slightly off the mark in 3rd on mine, didnt get anything on karls, then mine started clawing back into 4th, if you can be man enough to admit it ofcourse :rasp:

p.s in real world 15 bhp on yours vs my car looks feck all, and i was one more up than both of you ;)

on a side note impressive for a bog standard
makes mods pointless
 
to put things into perspective, 90 percent of the time i managed with 60 bhp.....

and what i have now is pretty good :D
 
im thinking I need more like 200+bhp to get me interested, and then that would probably last for a week and Id want more, I know its not drivable on a back road with much more than that but its that low it tends not to get abused on bumpy roads anyhow

What rolling road was that on? A lad had those same mods and made 175.4 hp yesterday. Lol what's that tourqe figure in ftlbs.
 
Rolling road at Warwickshire college ( where i used to go to do a motorsport course)

Dyno dynamics rollers.

195 nm = 143.824619114 ftlbs
 
Good results from those mods then. I'll be getting a yozza and decat next year. Was gonna get ds2500 pads all round but got a punture this morning and had to get 2 new exaltos early : (.
So you got more power but less tourqe than mine although different rollers ya can't really compare.

Higher than mine was with exact same mods, and Paul said mine was a decent engine so you must have a really good one or the rollers you went on were slightly generous?
 
well out of my 3 runs i got:

3rd run 181.bhp and 195nm of torque or 143ftlbs

2nd run 179.4bhp and 222nm of torque or 163ftlbs

i've got a pic on my phone which ill upload.

Well yeah mine could have been generous or the ones you went on underestimated. Its the problem when you compare two different rolling roads.
But ill be putting my on another RR soon so will be interesting to see what that says too.
