Had my tracking done.

  RB clio 182
Basically the camber on the front was completely different either side.

What can cause this ? Im guessing worn items ??

I had my toe set to factory which according to the book was either + or - 1.50 degrees.

Is this right ?

Thanks in advance.

Can anyone offer some aanswers. Should I just get my toe set to 0 degrees or is that not ideal ?

My camber was out, reckon it was a broken spring causing it.

Had the tracking done after fitting new inner track rods and they set in to 1 degree toe in?? Sure some of these places make it up, but it drives and turns fine....

I searched to see what it should be but never found a common answer!

I don't trust any tyre centre to be honest, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't miles out.

What should it be on a non cup 182?

0.05 toe out, Protyre warwick, mention BTM = £25 no where in solihull know what they're doing, i've tried them all

1 DEGREE toe in, f**k that, it'll eat the tyres!

205 GTI i bought had 5 degrees of toe out. Drove it home from Bath. Tyres were legal when I left (only had a quick check)

when I got back to Bedford.....

It would be interesting to set the tracking at -1, zero and +1, see how differently the car drove and what tyre wear was like over 1000 miles!

1 degree toe in will make it feel a bit understeery, 1 degree toe out will make it feel more twitchy and more keen to turn in, both will marginally increase tyre wear over a more parellel setup.
