Half decent AGP Graphics card recommendation

Alreet.

I currently have a P4 3.0ghz, 1gb ram etc etc pc which does me fine for what i use it for, but im wanting to play a few recent games that are out and my current ATI 9200 card is sh1te!!!!!!

Im hopefully upgrading my whole system in about 6 months, but any recommendations for a decent AGP card at a good price in teh meantime?

ATI X1950Pro 512Mb, best AGP card you can get your hands on, between £80 & £95, but you'll need a good PSU I'd say a good branded 550W, Helps if PSU has the 6 pin PCI-E power connectors too and get a 1950Pro that doesnt use the 4 pin molex connectors is best, so avoid the Sapphire

Slightly disagree rich, the XT version of the X1950 is the best AGP card..

Yeh XT is better but they are like gold dust trying to source one
