Halford's Locking Key

  Monaco Blue 172
F**king locking key has deformed. I don't know the part number of the key because I didnt keep the packaging cz I have had the set ages....so Halfords cant do anything. Any cheap advice to getting them out?? cheers

whack an old socket bit over the top of the bolt and then fit your wheel brace over the top and turn, thats how my mechanic friend got mine off at the weekend, im taking them off when i next come to take the wheels off as they are McGard locking nuts and they're crap! plus if its as easy as putting over a socket bit and undoing the nut they're not worth it imo!

either that or chisel them off. Only problem is, may hurt the alloys...I'd try the socket way first!!

drill a hole in it then tap and dye it revershread put a bolt in and undo it i did it at work in a snapped wheel nut
