Handbrake adjustment advice

Hi there

I have a problem in which the hand brake doesn't hold the back left but on back right it's too much. Releasing the handbrake on the right rear is as if it's still on and you can barely move the disc!

Needs to be sorted today while car is up on jacks, how do I do this?

Two new cables I reckon. Sounds like one is stretched.

Ph1 is inside the car, Ph2 underneath the car. I think or the other way round.

2001 could be either!

Does anyone know exactly where the adjusters are? Couldn't see one at the handbrake with cover off

Then yours will be underneath, if it's in car it's under handbrake cover which pulls off.

You can only adjust both at the same time too if I remember, and if they need replacing they have to be done as a pair.

The cables seem to disappear underneath the exhaust shroud, can't see it. Can't see anything inside the car either under handbrake cable.

Yer under the heat shield just before the rear beam.

Balls can't do it now up on small jacks pig to get too

Did you find the adjuster ? Done mine on a ramp
