The hand brake adjuster is underneath the handbrake cover buddie! Its a long thin bolt that points up with a nut on it. Dont know if you need it tightend or slackend! But you turn the bolt to suit.

The Handbrake is generally self adjusting..

When the new brake pads are fitted then the procedure is to pump the brake pedal till it goes hard, which extends the pistons and internal pawl mechanism.. Then pull the handbrake up to check you have around 5 - 7 clicks..

It can however be adjusted to take up slack due to stretching by removing the plastic cover under the handbrake handle.. You will see a screwed rod/nut turn the bolt clockwise to tighten the cable..

Also check that the handbrake assembly is secured properly to the body of the car as they have a tendancy for the two securing nuts to work loose.. This will cause side to side movement in the handle..
