Handsfree Kits

Went to Halford the toher day to enquire about an in car kit, so that the sound comes outa the speakers, they wanted £100

I asked the girl how it was wired in as im planning to runn all my speakers through amps in the future, waht she said was its an adaptor that goes between the ISO plugs and the streio, that has a 3rd plug on that a cable, going to the mobile plugs into. £100 includes the fitting too.

When i asked if i coulf buy just the kit on its own, after a bit of umming are arring she said that it would still cist £100 as the fitting was free, i cpouldnt belived it, £100 for a wiring loom and a phone adaptor - rip off!!

Are there any companies that do these, but obvously at a cheaper price?

The halfords one is very good, and i have it in my car... The only complaint i have it that my car is too loud, and they cant hear me very well. As i said to you yesterday, im getting some bluetooth headsets which are great, and they have noise canceling.. so no more exhaust noise, and because their speaking directly into my ear, ill be able to hear them.

But i would advise the halfords kit, it is very good! infact.. do you want mine?

What phone do you have.?

BTW The oem kits have very good noise canceling. my car is loud but i can hear the caller very well

The halfords kit is universal and is somewhat limited in its functionality

I have a Nokia 7250i, it doesnt have bluetooth, it has a built in speakerphone, but the volume aint grat and when doing 60 you cant hear the called, i have a normal plug in hands free kit, but i find if i have an ear phone in you cant hear your music outa that ear, and its a hassle plugging it in etc each time you start off.

Its just one of bthose things that i thought oh a nahdsfree kit would be good

http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=CK-7Whttp://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=CK-7W (you will need this too http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=MBC15-Shttp://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=MBC15-S)

Both work out at £111.88

That or This

Works out at £99.25

The top one is bluetooth and hard-wired so you can use it with a bluetooth phone when you upgrade

The bottom one is hard wired. if your going for an amp setup its best to get a stand alone speaker setup. For the extra £12 i would pop for the top one as its future proof.
