happy clio people please read

we are a clio website? nobody has a problem with all of us having different cars and engine sizes do they? i thought we all used this site because we all liked the little clio. Doesnt seem fair that some people laugh at others cars due the nature and performance. Anybodyelse had this problem? Ps i love this site as much as i love my little clio. Keep up the good work guys and gals!! not moaning just a little upset that some people take the mick of us smaller cars!!!

Mate, 99.9% of the time everyone gets on, no matter wot Clio we drive.

I certainly havent had any problems with peeps, even when i didnt have my Willy (cheeky).

And if i do, ill give them a taste of the back of me hand around their chops.

I never had any problems with the Valver/Willy/172 crew when I had my Mk1 1.2. But, then again, the Cup didnt exist back then

Between me and the missus weve got a 172 and a 1.2 16v sport (hers) and TBH round where I live I dont really mind which one Im driving, you cant really use the 172 on 30 roads by schools and wot not.

At the end of the day I would have been chuffed as **** if Id had the 1.2 when I was a bit younger. There all decent cars for the money.

Ive only ever owned Clios - started with a 1.2 Club Med (Pootle), then to a 1.4 Alize (Posie) then to my current "baby" my 172!!!! I fell in love with the Clio with Pootle and have never felt the urge to change, all Clios are lovely!!!!(even thou Titanium Silver is the best! )

heheheh I have gone from the mighty 172 Mk2 to an ickle Phase 1 1.8 16v, but it is getting a nice big turbo next year and will munch up a 172/cup/CTR/S2000 etc

Most of the crits on here are to be taken tongue in cheek, and are meant in good humour although we do get our fair share of "visitors" who can cause a bit of trouble.

When I joined I was a little worried that my 1.4 wouldnt be accepted but Ive spoken to a few people on here and none have ever been nasty

I only got a 1.2 and its has FIVE (Yes 5!!!! DOORS).. heh, and Ive managed to get a silly post rate - have thought about giving it best sometimes tho due to some comments, but who cares what other people think - I know my Clio is the best on here..

Well Ive been in car clubs of one sort or another more or less the whole time Ive owned a car (goin on 6 years) and if people do have an attitude towards other guys in the club with lower performance cars I think its wrong. Certainly when I was in the performance nova group the clubs bulk was made up by people with SRs and 1 ltr models etc. so basically the club is only so big because people are joining whatever the size of their engine.

Also you genrally get better ICE and styling and stuff in the smaller engined cars and that brings more to the club too.
