Hard decision: Need some advice plse

I've been looking for a 172 cup for a while and seen a few mint ones for £6000. But is it worth saving up an extra £2k and getting the (182 cup or with cup pack)?
Which model is more likely to hold its value or are they both similar depreciaters?

If I went with the original plan of getting the 172 cup I would want to upgrade the brakes (due to lack of ABS in the winter months I'd want to have some high performance anchors). Is there much improvement on just changing to better pads and grooved discs as opposed to going for a whole new kit? If so any recommendations on manufacturers?

Both will loose money the Cup might be worse so being as its a lower spec and the market is more a drivers car market the 182 is a decient speced car so migh hold value better.
I'd stay with a Cup and save the £2k you'll not loose as much.

Depending what your after there are better stuff. Stock isn't half bad and for the price very good ds2500's are a good idea with bleed brakes but might as well chnage the lines and disk at the same time £200 or so from Yozzasport etc.

Forget groved disks IMO stock/brembo high carbon etc are much better.

ds2500 pads and up graded stainless lines are the daddy!!! bout 140-50 qid for them!!

Yep thats the package.

Forget the rear there fine only reason to change the rear pads is if your old are worn and they take ages to wear out.

High crabon diks are supposed to be better quality, the real benefit is they have wear markers on them so since ds2500 pads are hard you might need to kep an eye that your disk ins't wearing any faster than your pads are.
