Harness bar in a 4 door Non RS Clio Ph2?

Hello, Like the title says I am looking to install a Harness bar from K-Tec in my 4 door Ph2 Clio. But I have a few questions.

I still want to use my rear seats since I have kids, and they love driving around town with me since my style of driving is a bit more fun than mommy, Lol. will the harness bar take away too much of the seating area to make it unsafe for rear passengers?

would I be better off making my own? Theirs is a bolt in and I would make mine the same. just to make it easier.

Pros Cons?

You want to fit a metal bar in front of your rear passengers.

Yeah it won't be safe mate, it would be pretty much where the kids heads would hit in the event of a crash.

Then I guess a removable one is a good idea. Track days build it in, normal driving take it out.

This^ I’ve only ever had normal seatbelts even when running bucket seats.
