They mount to the subframe for the lower one on the same places the normal seat belts hook the rear ones should be mounted high up. This picture gives you an idea how they should be mounted mounting them low on the rear seats is asking for trouble and serious damage in a crash. The only disadvanatge are that in a crach into the rear quater of the car will pull the belt tight. However mounting low down and in crahses it will compress your spine.
