RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
I am just stripping out my 172 for track day use. I have a 3 point Luke harness with eye bolt fitting. Has anybody had experience of mounting a harness using existing mounts or welded/bolted new points for eye bolt mounting. I would prefer to use existing strong points but only the rear seems to have the correct thread to mount the eye bolts. I have considered clipping onto the outer lower original mounting loop & drilling a new mounting into the seat frame for the inner.
