The previous owner of my 172 had the K-Tec exhuast fitted but, I think it looks gash hanging down. I want to cut it into the bonnet but, don't know how to do it or where to get a surround as a 182 one will be too round I think.

Ideas please guys and gals.

You know what I meant.... I was thinking about the stone chips in the bonnet and typing about the bumper at the same time. Obviously I can't do two things at the same time! Much to the opinion of the trouble and strife!

Believe it or not, whoever fitted it used cable ties to hold it place.Yes you read that correctly.... Cable ties.... For f**k sake!

^thanks but, mine is an oval shape hence can't use a standard surround. any ideas what to use instead to gat the same/similar look?

what about warming the surround up and making it fit to the oval shape ??? or the plastic trim that go's on the old mini's across the sills and around the arches it quite bendable and will hold itself to the bumper
