Has anyone ever downgraded a clio?

Like taking a 182 and making it a 1.2 rep?

Would be pretty funny for rwyb days.

For those that have expendable cash and too much time on their hands

I have... just bought a saxo besause my gear box blew tuesday :( and needed a car asap for work....

never been so ashamed when stopped at traffic lights.. Stunning 182 to a shitron saxo

Help!

I was thinking about taking out the rear windows of the 172 and putting the van panels in. Simpler than getting a van and building it up.

I always bang 1.2 badges on everything I own, apart from the evo I just debadged that.
Most people just see a clio, I bet a massive amout of people couldn't tell the difference between a 1.2 or a 182 lol so it adds to the fun :D

The valver had 1.2 badges
The williams had 1.2 badges
The phs1 172 had 1.2 badges
The Xsara VTS had diesel badges
Most of my 2.0l 16v novas had 1.2 badges or non at all
Evo was debadged as was the impreza but eveybody knows what they are

In fact when I get chance im going to bang some 1.2 badges on my ITB'd 172 :D

Its all s***s and giggles

1.2 & Campus badges.... may be the winner

stick one of those fishes on the boot too, then no-one would ever suspect a run to red-line!

the wheels may stick out of the arches due to the wider track of the sports,

also, there are clips under the side skirts that are rivetted to the shell that would need to be drilled off and filled.

it would be quite a bit of work, but would be a giggle.
