Having some bad luck!....

Either that or its a typical case of french car syndrome!!

So after my issues with crank sensor/battery end of last week i managed to get it sorted saturday.. sunday car was driving perfectly!

This morning on the way to work the car decided to play up again...

Oil light and battery light were on so changed battery over to my new one. needed oil so plan was to stop at garage anyway

After about 3 miles into journey..First sign was pulling off a roundabout and going over 3k revs it wouldnt rev anymore and felt gutless! pretty sure it was just misfiring, managed to limp it to the services as i knew i needed to top up the oil anyway.. so oil all topped up, started fine and drove off on way to work..

A mile up the road on an A road in the middle of nowhere i decided to play up again, no power above 3k revs then totally died, pulled up to side of the road tried to start it but wouldnt start properly, when it did start it felt lumpy and wouldnt give me any power, tried to limp it up the road to a safe location but just stalled and died under load.

So my question is.... have i just replaced with a dud (new crank sensor) or is this something totally different? possibly spark plugs? other?

No idea tbh, i cant be sure what limp mode should be like. Im guessing though that it would still give some power? This felt like it had nothing especially when under any sort of load.
