Hazard light problem

Anyone had any problems with the hazard light switch not going in, and the surrounding around the lighter and ash tray should it light up?

Yep hazard light switch went on mums car, had to get it changed for the MOT. Actually not that expensive from Renault, 4 or 5 quid from them at the time. The lighter surround and ash tray illumination are from the same bulb so if its gone then both wont light up.

last time i priced one up it was like £17

well just took it out pressed it up and down gave it some wd40 and its working was just jammed in probs not used much cheers for the advice people, anyone know how much the lighter bulbs cost from renault?
