HD Streaming using wireless N? Anyone tired? Kit recommendations

Hey all,

anyone tried any 1080p wireless streaming from one pc to another? i was looking at getting the card below, as i've moved to a new place and want to watch my hd stuff off my main machine and stream it to another win7 machine.

I've just got a wireless N router and was wondering if anyone had any luck doing this?

can't see why you couldn't, a Slingbox HD can do it from an HD source to a PC

yep, sure can.

you have to hard-wire your source into the slingbox though. for instance

V+ HD Box----> Slingbox ------> Router ------> Wi-Fi -------> Receiving computer
or
Router ------> Internet -----> Receiving computer (SD only)

hmm thats interesting,

the setup i was looking at was

Source computer with HD movies on ---> WIFI N Class CONNECTION ---> receiving pc.

Sounds ok then, if not this slingbox might be a potential purchase.

I use N to stream 1080p to my WDTV Live. Works just fine.
