HD Tv's

I am lookin for a HD TV LCD/Plasma for around £500-600. I have a PS3 and want a tv now to use with it! My mates got a PS3 and has a Samsung 32" LCD and was fantastic when playing games and watching movies etc.... Think his was around £499.

Are there any other good ones?? or is it worth spending more £'s and getting a bigger screen which is plasma?

If you were impressed with your mates setup, i'd be tempted to go for that as you'll know exactly what you'll be getting!

I've got a 42" panasonic plasma and I'm chuffed to bits with it. For me the bigger the screen the better.

ideally if you budget streches the 32"d3000 sony or the panasonic lxd700

Both 100hz tv's both excellent blacks and mid tones, and also not bad sound quality for a tv.

I believe the sony D series can be picked up for £615 off amazon somewhere.

for the time being i was looking to only spend around £500, My mate who has the samsung said through his work he can get deals, he said there's a 32" same spec as his samsung but its not a well known brand, TECO i think it was called.
All i want from it is to play the PS3, watch movies and tv.....

Most cheaper Sony's aren't worth bothering with, don't be fooled by the branding

Be careful with the Samsungs, I can't remember the exact model(s), but some have weird issues with the ps3\hdmi, worth checking out


Can't go wrong with a Tosh X series

Sainsburies down my way are doing the Sony Bravia KDU3000 for £449.99. Bargain. Whats more, if you go to John Lewis they will price match this and all of their TVs have a 5 year warranty.

Superb colour balance/blacks

Awesome with PS3/BluRay Movies/Hi-Def

Would defo recommend

Tesco are advertising a Tosh 37" for £599, don't know what the model is, saw it on TV lastnight.
